What a busy summer season filled with heaps of great achievements for the tourism industry and our treasured Tomahawk customers! Crazy to think that autumn is already starting next month.
We have had a number of customer strategy sessions already to discuss Easter promotions, shoulder season package creations, and Coolcation ideas for winter campaigns. If you haven't already - do reach out, we'd love to discuss options to keep the bookings flowing through out the year. For example, see the below opportunity to achieve this with Tourism NZ's new campaign 👏

Offer Aussies a Must Go Deal!
You've no doubt heard about the latest Tourism NZ campaign targeting Aussies to visit this March, April & May - and you can get involved!
If your business is listed in the Tourism Business Database, you can create an "Autumn Deal" to be considered as part of this campaign. Hear the full story in the TNZ webinar and industry campaign overview!
We're excited to share a recent client success story with a luxury Australian retreat in the wellness sector.
This leading health retreat partnered with Tomahawk to develop a bespoke booking engine to suit their unique needs. Sorry OTAs! Direct website sales grew from 0 to 32% of total revenue in just the first month of launch!
If you attended TRENZ in Wellington last year, you'll know our snacks were a hit! So by popular demand (and because we love popcorn and snacks!) we will be back to smash hangry and boost energy levels in Rotorua!
We also have a healthy New Zealand drink option in the pipeline...more on that to come!
Our partners Tourism Export Council of NZ have shared recent forecasts for international arrivals to New Zealand. By the end of March it's expected to be at 88% of 2019 arrivals and then to grow to 96% by March 2026, followed by 102% in 2027. With the New Zealand government clearly supporting tourism as a growth industry we will look forward to a more thriving industry and economy ahead!
